Cuddle-tested Toys for Children

Cubbies is a UK online toy retailer of cuddle-tested soft toys customized with embroidery to celebrate different occasions including Births, Christmas and Birthdays.

Heer designed and built a custom web application for a tablet housed in a Kiosk enabling customers to customize preview and purchase embroidered soft toy gifts. Technologies included Woocommerce, Vue.js and Wilcom embroidery API. There are two versions of the Kiosk – one for attended sales with an assisted walk through and another with an integrated payment terminal for self-service. The project is part of a pilot with proof of concept targeting a scaled platform of Kiosks in situated in national retailers. The application has also been adapted and incorporated into Cubbies website.
